The Tri-Oval Oxidation Ditch System garnered the EBJ Technical Merit Achievement Award for design and operating flexibility, energy conservation and low installation cost. The system provides control of the activated sludge process. AIRE-O2 Triton process aerator/mixers inject fine-bubble diffused air and ensure complete mixing throughout the treatment volume. Biological nutrient removal is facilitated using the dual functionality of the Triton units.
